Ryler Mott spent ten years in the Republic Military. He was a Long Range Recon scout with the 77th Recon Battalion. He spent the majority of his time behind enemy lines scouting troop movements and force composition in various small wars and skirmishes in the outer rim. Ryler believes in stealth above superior fire power. “The most dangerous enemy in the galaxy is the one you cant see.” Ryler lives by this, blending in any environment and trusting his senses and abilities to keep him alive. While not a coward, he is a firm believer that the most successful missions are those that are accomplished without a shot being fired, and with out the enemy ever knowing he was there. Ryler has an impressive service record, even in the parts that aren’t encrypted at some of the highest classified levels. He’s a very quiet person, even with those he trust. He only speaks if he has something relevant to say. He comes off as very stand offish at times but that’s because he’s used to being alone with just his thoughts, his field glasses and his blaster as company. Unlike most scouts, Ryler is not a sniper. He has operated as a spotter and guide on sniping missions, but he prefers to do observation and reporting over shooting. “If i have to fire my weapon, I’m not doing my job right.” Ryler doesn’t talk about his past with anyone. He prefers to leave people unaware of most of his personal life. His home planet is know only to those who have seen his service record and those records are sealed up tight. Ryler left the Republic military under circumstances known only to those in the highest echelons of the republic military. He was given an honorable discharge and was even allowed to keep some of his gear. He now spends his life selling his services to those in need of a highly skilled scout. He is currently on hire by the Jedi Argo Corps receiving training to scout worlds in the rim for establishment of agricultural colonies.
